Welcome to Barbourne in Bloom

We are a group of people who live or work in the Barbourne neighbourhood of Worcester. We want to make our lovely neighbourhood an even better place for people and wildlife! We are part of the Royal Horticultural Societies (RHS) It’s Your Neighbourhood campaign, which you can read about here.

So far we’ve been helping local businesses to apply for bike plant lockers through the Park That Bike scheme – hopefully, you’ve already spotted a couple looking pretty! We’ve also planted pollinator-friendly bulbs in Gheluvelt park, we’ve been on litter picks and started chatting to our neighbours about the things we can do to make our streets cleaner and greener.

We’ll be sharing resources and ideas on these pages to help inspire you and some of our local members will be knocking on doors over the coming months to find out if you’d like to be more involved with our plans.
